The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1026 \u201cSustainable Manufacturing \u2013 shaping global value creation\u201d, gathers an interdisciplinary team from 13 research departments of 5 of the faculties of the TU Berlin, and strives to address the challenges raised by sustainability to the manufacturing sector. 22 projects develop efficient ways to assess the sustainability of manufacturing activities, promising cleaner production processes and machine tool concepts, new qualification and decision making approaches and explore sustainable business models<\/p>\n
